To catch you up to speed a little. In March Adam resigned from his job as a worship pastor. He has been a worship pastor at the church for 8 years and throughout the years we together agreed it was time to move on. As we were processing all the change, we decided the best thing to do would be to skip town, to take a break to step outside our life and take a peak into what a new life could look like. Adam stayed at the church until the middle of April and then Michael finished his first year of Kindergarten the end of May. We got out a map and planned our trip. 4700 miles to be exact and with that we started in Co, headed to Santa Fe, Az, San Diego, San Clementi, LA, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, the Lovely Red Wood forest and then back down the coast to San Fran, Santa Barbara, Laguna, Vegas, and Grand Junction. We spent 30 days away and those 30 days changed my life and my heart. It took guts….and yet I am thankful I married someone who said he would show me the world and I believe he is off to an amazing start!
First stop in California-San Diego
We hit the June gloom and it was chilly. But that didn’t keep us from laying in the sand and enjoy being together!
